The Portsmouth Institute’s Junior Fellows Program is a community of students at Portsmouth Abbey School and Saint Louis Priory School inspired by the richness of the Catholic intellectual and Benedictine contemplative life, and committed to enlivening their social, intellectual, and spiritual lives as students, athletes, and young men and women.

Through this student formation program, Junior Fellows are provided opportunities to develop enduring friendships, enhance their intellectual experience, deepen their faith lives, and cultivate their gifts and talents.

Junior Fellows begin their fellowship through the Oxford Summer Programme, followed by a long-year series of book readings, social events, spiritual programming, cultural excursions, and visiting speakers for the fellows and invited guests.  By actively participating in and contributing to the life of our schools, Junior Fellows play a crucial role in providing an authentic witness of faith and reason to their fellow students.
