Named for the medieval mystic, scientist, and Benedictine abbess St. Hildegard of Bingen, the Hildegard Forum provides an opportunity for interdisciplinary, academic dialogue at the intersection of spirituality, science, and the liberal arts. The Forum will be a capstone program of the Center for Science and the Liberal Arts, offering a small group of students and faculty an opportunity to reflect on major themes discussed in courses, guest lectures, and independent research throughout the academic year.

The heart of the Forum will be an evening discussion, featuring opening remarks from interdisciplinary members of the Portsmouth Abbey School faculty, followed by an open discussion with participating students and teachers. The evening will also include Mass and small dinner for participants and invited guests from the community.

This forum is open to Portsmouth Abbey students and faculty.
