Conversation with the Classics provides a space for lifelong learners to enter into conversation with the greatest literature of the Western tradition, and to read the literature in light of the Incarnation of Christ.

Gathered around food, wine, books, and a table, we enliven the imagination, encourage participation in contemplative leisure, and engage hearts in the lived pilgrimage of the Christian life.

Conversation with the Classics serves as an entry point into literature and the Catholic imagination. Participants come from a variety of experiences: working professionals, retirees, homemakers, teachers. No previous encounter with or knowledge of the text are required. The only requirements are a “desire for learning and a love of God.”
