The Portsmouth Institute’s 11th annual summer conference will convene virtually through On Demand Daily Keynote addresses delivered to your inbox each day from June 8-June 12. We will then gather for a live Zoom Q&A with our speakers on Saturday, June 20. This year’s conference will explore the virtues and practices at the heart of the Christian life: ones that must be rediscovered to strengthen the faith and preserve it in our secular age. Guided by expert teachers, we will explore virtues and practices as far-ranging as the importance of play to the Christian life, the meaning of pilgrimage, and the ancient monastic practices of Gregorian chant and lectio divina.

The Portsmouth Institute’s annual summer conference is New England’s premier forum for the Catholic intellectual and contemplative life. Hosted each June, the summer conference offers an opportunity for true leisure and an encounter with truth, beauty, and goodness. Summer conference speakers have included Cardinal Seán O’Malley, Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Dr. Robert P. George, George Weigel, Ross Douthat, Heather King, Leah Libresco, and many others.
