Guardini Society: $5,000
Romano Guardini was an influential priest and Catholic theologian in the 20th century who had a profound intellectual influence on Joseph Ratzinger (later Pope Benedict XVI), and Jorge Mario Bergoglio (later Pope Francis). Guardini, a Benedictine oblate, was deeply indebted to monastic spirituality.
